What can be done to reduce radon levels in your home?
The type of house and foundation design (basement, slab-on-grade or crawlspace homes) affects the mitigation system we use to reduce your radon levels.
In many cases, sim
ple systems using underground pipes and an exhaust fan are used to reduce radon levels. These systems are called “sub-slab depressurization systems” and do not require major changes to your home.
They remove radon gas from below the concrete floor and the foundation before it can enter the home. Similar systems can also be installed in houses with crawl spaces. We will perform a visual inspection of your house and design a mitigation system that best suits your individual home. We will review the proposed system with you and answer any questions you may have.
