We are a full service, licensed radon testing and mitigation company. We test your home’s radon levels and, if necessary, provide an affordable and effective solution to return your home to within acceptable EPA standards – ensuring the safety of your home and your family.
The type of house and foundation design (basement, slab-on-grade or crawlspace homes) affects the mitigation system we use to reduce your radon levels.
In many cases, simple systems using underground pipes and an exhaust fan are used to reduce radon levels. These systems are called “sub-slab depressurization systems” and do not require major changes to your home.
They remove radon gas from below the concrete floor and the foundation before it can enter the home. Similar systems can also be installed in houses with crawl spaces. We will perform a visual inspection of your house and design a mitigation system that best suits your individual home. We will review the proposed system with you and answer any questions you may have.
A Continuous Radon Monitor test, conducted by a licensed, radon mitigation specialist, is by far the most accurate short-term radon test available for your home. This test typically provides a precise radon level reading in about 48 hours.

Final Step: Your Results & Our Recommendation
We will email a detailed report to you, explaining the radon levels detected during the monitoring process. You will know right then if your home is within safe radon levels.
Based on the results, either no further action will be necessary (for homes that meet the EPA standard) or if levels are high, we will talk to you about the best mitigation solution for your home.

Here are a few examples of installed, radon mitigation systems. We understand that every home, basement, crawlspace, foundation, etc. has slight differences. We make sure that the homeowner is aware of what it required for their individual home, before we install a system.
Radon is not just in your basement -- Radon Risk in Schools! Despite Federal recommendations, most Ohio schools do not test for radon at least once every five years. There is currently no policy in place to ensure our schools are being tested regularly.
Radon is a carcinogen known to cause lung cancer. Contact a local school representative to find out if your childrens' school is getting testing for Radon regualarly.
If you are a commercial property owner/manager, Clean Air Radon Solutions can provide a mitigation solution to reduce the radon levels in your commercial space, to within EPA standards.
Radon testing, for public and commercial buildings, is more involved than residential testing services. In a larger commercial space, there is increased air movement from HVAC systems, different occupancy times and unusual radon entry points. These factors make radon levels more difficult to test. There are stringent guidelines for radon measurement in commercial buildings and we are licensed to perform radon tests in these structures.
If you need to set up radon testing as part of your indoor air quality management, please call Clean Air Radon Solutions at 614-915-5614 to set up an appointment.
